The user will not need to go to the sticker pack and select stickers while chatting. As soon as you type any emoji in the message box, the sticker related to it will automatically pop-up. This will make conversation fun and people will be able to express themselves without typing.
This feature is already present on Android
According to reports, this feature will be rolled out for iPhone users first. A glimpse of this has been seen in iOS 26.1.10.72 beta update. Now as soon as a user types an emoji in the chat box, WhatsApp will suggest a matching sticker. Users will be able to send the sticker with a single tap here. This feature is already present on Android and now preparations are underway to roll it out for iPhone.
Option to add profile cover photo will also be available
Along with stickers, now iPhone users will also get the option to set their profile cover image on WhatsApp. Like other platforms including Instagram and Facebook, now WhatsApp will have a special spot ad above its profile picture. Here you will be able to upload photos from your gallery or camera. Once the image is set, other contacts will be able to see it on your profile. Currently, testing of this feature is going on and it will be rolled out for the users in the next few days. Let us tell you that this feature is already available on WhatsApp Business. Users can set their cover image on business accounts. Now preparations are underway to roll out this feature for ordinary users also.
