Taking the woman captive and robbing her of six lakhs

Three youths of the village allegedly robbed the mother of a young man working at a milk dairy in Khadur Sahib and held him captive at gunpoint and robbed her of 6 lakh rupees. The police have registered a case in this regard.

According to the statement given to the police, Jatinder Kumar, a resident of Khadur Sahib, said that he runs a dairy business in his house in the town of Khadur Sahib and that he had gone to collect milk in his vehicle in the morning. He kept Rs 6 lakh which he had to give to the milk sellers in the shop. When he came back, his mother Tripta Devi told that two youths inside the shop showed a pistol and held him captive and robbed him of 6 lakh rupees. The robbers belong to the village and have been identified as Jaspinder Singh and Manjinder Singh alias Mannu Nihang. The third of the looters is unidentified.

Police Station Head Inspector Prabhajit Singh Gill said that based on the statement of the victim, Jitinder Kumar, a case has been registered and raids are being conducted to nab the accused.
