Senior IPS officer Sunil Kumar Jha has been appointed as the Special Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Jha is a 1993 batch Bihar cadre IPS officer. According to the order issued by the Ministry of Personnel, the Committee on Appointments of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Jha as Special Director General of CRPF till his date of retirement on January 31, 2027. -News-Patiala
