Sarpanch of village Ram Saran Reena Saini attended as the chief guest in the closing ceremony of the block level rural women’s sports competitions organized at Ram Saran Majra under the leadership of Nirmala Rani, officer of women and child development department. Many women from Block Baban participated in the competitions. In the games organized on this occasion, Rekha Rani took the first place, Sonia took the second place and Savita took the third place in the musical chair. In the discus throw, Santra won the first place, Maneka won the second place and Mamtes won the third place.
In the 100m race, Meenakshi took the first place, Kusam Lata took the second place and Sunita took the third place, in the 300m race, Payal took the first place, Tamannaah took the second place, Jashan Kaur took the third place. In the 400 meter race, Manu took first, Preeti second and Muskan third. Ritu won first, Reena second and Anjali third in the five kilometer cycle race. On this occasion, Sarpanch Reena Saini said that women who participate in sports in their busy lives are not only mentally and intellectually fitter than others, they also stay away from mental stress. The winners were awarded by Sarpanch Reena Saini, CDPO Nirmala Rani and Supervisor Pushpa Devi.
