Famous comedian Kapil Sharma and actor Rajpal Yadav have received death threats through an email. A threatening message was sent to Governor Yadav’s email account by a person named Vishnu, who allegedly warned that Sharma, his family, his colleagues and Governor Yadav would be killed. Regarding the email sent on December 14, 2024, the family members filed a complaint with the police.
This threatening message was sent from the email address don99284@gmail.com to the email account of Rajpal Yadav’s team teamrajpalyadav@gmail.com. Due to this, taking immediate action, Yadav’s wife Radha Rajpal Yadav filed a complaint at the Amboli Police Station in Mumbai. Police officials said they are now investigating the person behind the threat and malicious email.
Ramo D’Souza and Sugandha Mishra also received threats
Film director Remo D’Souza and actress and singer Sugandha Mishra have also received similar threatening emails. Both have filed complaints in different police stations.
Email sent from Pakistan
The preliminary investigation of the police has revealed that this email has been sent from Pakistan. The email read, “We are monitoring your recent activities and advise you to take this sensitive issue seriously. This is neither a publicity stunt nor an attempt to harass you. Please take this message confidentially and seriously.” The email is signed by a person named ‘Vishnu’.
Increasing cases of threats to Bollywood celebrities
These emails have recently forced the Mumbai police to be more vigilant, as incidents challenging law and order in the city are on the rise. This includes cases like attack on leader Baba Siddiqui, threat to superstar Salman Khan and knife attack on actor Saif Ali Khan. The police are investigating the matter thoroughly and are engaged in identifying the person who made the threat.ANI/Web Desk
