On the occasion of Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s birth anniversary, Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria along with his family paid obeisance at Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib. On this occasion, after bowing down at Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Kirtan was performed.
Later, during the conversation with the journalists, the Governor congratulated the people of the country on the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. He said that today he got the privilege of paying obeisance at the historical land Sri Anandpur Sahib. The Governor said that Guru Sahib sacrificed his entire family for the protection of the country and religion.
He said that from here everyone gets guidance to live their life well. Later, he had a special meeting with Jathedar Singh Sahib Giani Sultan Singh of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib. Jathedar Sultan Singh honored the Governor by giving him Siropao.
On this occasion Shiromani Committee Member Bhai Amarjit Singh, Deputy Commissioner of District Rupnagar Himanshu Jain, SSP Rupnagar Gulneet Singh Khurana, DSP Sri Anandpur Sahib Ajay Singh, Manager of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib Malkit Singh, Additional Manager Advocate Hardev Singh along with administrative officers of District Rupnagar. And the servants and employees of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib were also present.
