Fire in Mumbai highrise: A fire broke out in an apartment in a 15-storey building in Mumbai’s Bandra area early on Tuesday. On this occasion, the officials said that after the incident, an 80-year-old woman was found unconscious in the premises and was admitted to the hospital, apart from this, nine persons were safely evacuated from the building by fire personnel using ladders.
An official said that a fire broke out in a flat located on the sixth floor of Fortune Enclave building in Bandra (West) around 1 am. After receiving the information, four fire brigade vehicles and other fire tenders reached the spot, after about two and a half hours of effort, the fire was brought under control. –News-Patiala
