Farmer Protest: In support of the farmers’ struggle, tractor marches were taken out, effigies were blown up

Farmer Protest: In support of the ongoing farmers’ movement on the borders of Punjab and Haryana at the Shambhu border and Dhabi Gujra/Khanuri border and the hunger strike of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, farmers on Monday protested in Ambala city of Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini’s home district. They gathered in the grain market and took out a tractor march to fulfill their demands. Before this, he also blew up effigies of BJP’s Rajya Sabha member Ram Chandra Jangra and Chief Minister Saini.

On this occasion, the protesting farmers raised loud slogans and especially criticized Jangra for his controversial rhetoric against the farmers movement. The farmers demanded that the demands of the farmers should be accepted by talking to the agitating leaders as soon as possible and the previously accepted demands should be implemented.
