Complaint to Election Commission against BJP candidates

Sri Hindu Takht chief and state campaigner Varun Mehta has demanded legal action by filing a case against BJP district president Rajnish Dhiman, Ward 77 candidate Poonam Rattra and Ward 78 candidate John Masih on the charge of hurting religious sentiments.

By giving a written complaint to DGP Punjab, District Election Officer and Division Number Two Police, they said that BJP candidates are misleading people by using the name of Lord Ram.

He said that the BJP candidates have used the image of the temple built in Ayodhya and the name of Lord Ram on their advertisements and these advertisements are lying on the garbage heaps.
