An invitation to the central government from the farmers’ leaders for talks

The agitating farmers sitting on the borders of Khanuri and Shambhu have invited the central government to negotiate so as to reduce the gap of growing mistrust between the two sides. Kisan leader Abhimanyu Kohar said with reference to the ongoing hearing in the Supreme Court on the issue of farmers, “We are reviewing it. We will also discuss this with Dallewal ji. It has been 36 days since his death fast…his health is deteriorating. We hope that the constitutional institutions of our country will give necessary instructions to the central government to accept the farmers’ demands. The central government should accept their negotiation proposal.

Kohar said that the issue can be resolved through dialogue. The farmer leader said, “When our prime minister goes abroad, he says that big issues can be resolved through dialogue. Farmers are citizens of this country and there should be a dialogue. This dialogue will reduce the gap of mistrust between the farming community and the government. When this distrust subsides, things will move forward by themselves.” has adjourned its hearing on transfer to the hospital till January 2.
