Patiala, October 16: The Patiala RNG plant is coming up at Jaikhar to make natural gas from straw, which will produce 15 metric tons of natural gas from 100 metric tons of straw daily. The Deputy Commissioner of Patiala, Sakshi Sahni, inspected the plant on October 16 and reviewed the construction works which have reached the final stage. He invited the farmers not to harm the environment by burning stubble for the future of their future generations. He also said that the Patiala district administration has made proper arrangements for the purchase of paddy in the district under the instructions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and the necessary machinery is being delivered to the farmers’ homes.
