SpiceJet and Star Air to Start Flights from Adampur to 5 Destinations

News Patiala– 30th July:– After a gap of almost three years, SpiceJet and Star Air will start flights from Adampur to 5 destinations. The flights will be operated under the government’s regional connectivity scheme, UDAN.

The new terminal at Adampur Airport has been constructed at a cost of 110 crores. A 300-meter taxi track is also ready. The airfares will be cheaper than flights from Chandigarh or Amritsar.

The flights will operate to the following destinations:

  • Bengaluru
  • Goa
  • Kolkata
  • Nanded
  • Hindon

The flights are expected to start in the next four months. This is a big relief for the residents of Doaba, who will now be able to fly directly from Adampur to these destinations.

There are several benefits to flying from Adampur Airport. These include:

Cheaper airfares: The airfares from Adampur Airport are significantly cheaper than flights from Chandigarh or Amritsar. This is because Adampur Airport is covered under the government’s UDAN scheme, which aims to make air travel more affordable for people in remote areas.

Convenient timing: The flights from Adampur Airport are timed in such a way that passengers can return home the same day after attending a meeting in Delhi. This is a major convenience for business travelers.

New terminal with modern amenities: The new terminal at Adampur Airport is equipped with modern amenities such as a waiting lounge, food court, and duty-free shop. This makes the airport a more pleasant experience for passengers.
