DGP Punjab took a review meeting of Ferozepur Range Police at Tarn Taran. The Meeting was attended by DIG Ferozepur Range, SSP Tarn Taran Police, SSP Ferozepur Police, SSP Fazilka Police along with the other officers of the 3 Districts
DGP Punjab discussed the Crime scenario of the area and directed the arrest of NDPS POs, and stern action against the Gangsters and smugglers.
He emphasized the urgency to ensure Basic Policing including timely completion of investigation of cases under investigation, strengthening of an Intelligence gathering network of District Police, surveillance of criminals out on bail and parole, etc
DGP Punjab exhorted the Gazetted officers present to put their best efforts into bringing about a change in the functioning of the Police, ushering in professionalism and proper supervision of the Police Stations under their control. #YourSafetyOurPriority
ਡੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੱਜ ਤਰਨਤਾਰਨ ਵਿਖੇ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਰੇਂਜ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਸਮੀਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਰੇਂਜ ਦੇ ਡੀ.ਆਈ.ਜੀ, ਤਰਨਤਾਰਨ, ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਫਾਜ਼ਿਲਕਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਐਸ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ. ਸਮੇਤ ਤਿੰਨੋ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਗਜ਼ਟਿਡ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
ਡੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੀ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਵਟਾਂਦਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਐਨ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ. ਦੇ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਅਧੀਨ ਪੀ.ਓਜ਼ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ , ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੱਗਲਰਾਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੁਢਲੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂਚ ਅਧੀਨ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਕਰਨਾ, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਖੁਫੀਆ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਇਕੱਤਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੈਟਵਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨਾ, ਜ਼ਮਾਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਪੈਰੋਲ ‘ਤੇ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਹੋਏ ਅਪਰਾਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਆਦਿ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ।
ਡੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ. ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਗਜ਼ਟਿਡ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਕਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਲਿਆਉਣ, ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਥਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਚੱਜੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
