Patiala Flood News: The left side of the bridge near Badi Nadi Truck Union on the Patiala-Rajpura road has been closed for traffic as a precaution due to flooding. The Public Works Department (PWD) has taken this measure to ensure the safety of motorists.
The PWD has also advised motorists to avoid traveling on the road during the monsoon season. If they must travel, they should be extra cautious and drive slowly.
The flooding is caused by heavy rains that have been lashing the Patiala district in recent days. The rains have also caused waterlogging in several parts of the district.
The PWD is monitoring the situation closely and will reopen the bridge as soon as it is safe to do so.
