Sangrur, July 29, 2023 — The Punjab government has announced a holiday on July 31 in Sangrur district to mark the Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Udham Singh.
The holiday has been declared in government, semi-government offices, government and private schools, colleges, universities, and educational institutions in Sangrur district. This is so that people can participate in the state-level event being held at Sunam Udham Singh Wala to commemorate Shaheed Udham Singh’s sacrifice.
The event will be held on July 31 at 11:00 AM at Sunam Udham Singh Wala. It will be attended by senior government officials, political leaders, and members of the public.
