News Patiala: 31 July:– A fire broke out at the HDFC Bank ATM in Commando Market, Bahadurgarh, Patiala on Monday afternoon. The fire is believed to have started due to an electrical short circuit. The ATM was completely destroyed in the fire.
The fire was first noticed by commando personnel who were training nearby. They immediately tried to extinguish the fire, but it was too large. The fire brigade was called, but by the time they arrived, the ATM was already engulfed in flames.
The fire also spread to a nearby commando gas agency, but the cylinders there were not damaged. No one was injured in the fire.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it is believed to have been caused by an electrical short circuit. The ATM was completely destroyed in the fire, and it is not yet known whether any cash was lost.
