PSPCL Releases Helpline Numbers for Consumers to Register Complaints

The Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has released helpline numbers for consumers to register complaints during the paddy season. The helpline numbers are as follows:

Consumers can also register their complaints by giving a missed call to PSPCL’s toll-free number 1800-180-1512 or by sending a WhatsApp message to 9646101912.

PSPCL has also set up special control rooms at the zonal level and at the head office, Patiala, to redress consumer complaints and provide updates on the status of power supply during the paddy season.

The power utility has made adequate arrangements to meet the power demand during peak periods. It has also deployed additional staff to ensure an uninterrupted power supply to agricultural tubewell consumers.

PSPCL has appealed to consumers to cooperate with the authorities and report any power outage or complaint to the nearest helpline number.

There are several ways to register a complaint with Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL).

  • Toll-free number: You can call the PSPCL’s toll-free number, 1912, to register a complaint. This number is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Missed call: You can also register a complaint by giving a missed call to the PSPCL’s missed call number, 1800-180-1512. If your mobile number is not registered with PSPCL, you will be sent a link to lodge your complaint online. Once you register your complaint, you will be automatically registered with the PSPCL’s 1912 customer relationship management system.
  • Online: You can also register a complaint online by visiting the PSPCL’s website, https://pspcl.in/. On the website, click on the “Complaints” tab and then click on the “Register a Complaint” button. You will need to provide your name, address, mobile number, and the nature of your complaint.
  • In-person: You can also register a complaint in person at any PSPCL office. When you visit an office, you will need to provide your name, address, mobile number, and the nature of your complaint.

Once you have registered a complaint, PSPCL will investigate the matter and take appropriate action. In most cases, PSPCL will resolve complaints within 24 hours.

Here are some additional tips for registering a complaint with PSPCL:

  • Be as specific as possible when describing the nature of your complaint.
  • Provide as much information as possible, such as the date and time of the incident, the location of the incident, and the names of any witnesses.
  • Keep a record of all correspondence with PSPCL, including the date, time, and content of any phone calls, emails, or letters.
  • If you are not satisfied with the resolution of your complaint, you can escalate the matter to the PSPCL’s grievance redressal officer.
