Clash between Nihang Singhs and Dera Radha Swami followers: A big clash took place near the town of Beas today. When a dispute started between some Nihang Singhs and the servants of the followers of Dera Radha Swamy (DSSB) over the land, the two sides came face to face. The police dispersed both parties with heavy force. The police were also lathi-charged on both sides and the place was vacated. In fact, Nihang took the cows to the alleged land of the religious camp this afternoon. After which the attendants of the camp asked them to leave, then there was a clash between the two parties.
Meanwhile, bricks and stones were thrown between the two sides, and both sides arrived with their supporters in large numbers. The police stationed there in large numbers first chased both the parties and then removed both the parties by lathi charge. Meanwhile, there are reports of injuries to some bodies and persons.
According to SSP Swapan Sharma, a heavy force was deployed on receiving information about the conflict. Both sides were removed. Now the situation is under control. There are also some injured and the police have now started recording statements and action will be taken according to the statements.
The administration is saying that no one has died during the clash and the situation is under control. According to the administration, the followers of the camp have been sent to the camp and the Nihang Singhs have also been sent back. Currently, the atmosphere is peaceful.
No one died in the clash
Several persons have been injured in a clash between followers of Dera Radha Swami and Nahing Singhs at Beas. But no one died. Civil surgeon Dr. Charanjit Singh, giving this information, said that the injured have been admitted to Civil Hospital Baba Bakala Sahib, Civil Hospital Amritsar, and Guru Nanak Hospital Amritsar for treatment. He said that all the injured are under treatment but the ongoing rumor of the death of someone is not true.
ਕਸਬਾ ਬਿਆਸ ਨਜਦੀਕ ਅੱਜ ਇਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਟਕਰਾ ਹੋਣੋ ਟਲ ਗਿਆ। ਜਦ ਕੁਝ ਨਿਹੰਗ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਤੇ ਡੇਰਾ ਰਾਧਾ ਸਵਾਮੀ (DSSB) ਦੇ ਪੈਰੋਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਾਦਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਜਗਾ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਏ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੋਵੇ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਆਹਮੋ-ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਫੋਰਸ ਨਾਲ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਦੇੜਿਆ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਧਿਰਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਲਾਠੀਚਾਰਜ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਜਗਾ ਖਾਲੀ ਕਰਵਾਈ। ਦਰਅਸਲ ਨਿਹੰਗ ਅੱਜ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਗਾਵਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੀ ਕਥਿਤ ਜਮੀਨ ‘ਤੇ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ। ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਾਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਟਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਤਾਂ ਦੋਵੇ ਧਿਰਾਂ ‘ਚ ਟਕਰਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
