Sentenced in the 2003 illegal immigration racket case

            Popular Punjabi singer Daler Mahindi was sentenced to two years by a Patiala court on Thursday.
In a major blow to Punjabi pop singer Daler Mehndi, Patiala Additional Sessions Judge HS Grewal on Wednesday upheld the sentence awarded to him in a 2003 human trafficking case. 

Patiala Punjabi pop singer Daler Mehndi was convicted in a 2003 human trafficking case by a court in Patiala. He was sentenced to two years in jail and was later granted bail.

  
It may be mentioned that Daler Mehndi was sentenced to 2 years imprisonment by JMIC Patiala on 16.03.18.

Judge HS Grewal also ordered his immediate arrest, after which he was taken into custody.
