The Punjab Government will hoist the national flag in Patiala on Independence Day this year. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will hoist the flag at Patiala, while Assembly Speaker Kultar Sandha will hoist the flag at the Punjab Vidhan Sabha in Jalandhar.
The government has issued a list of places where the national flag will be hoisted on Independence Day. The list includes all district headquarters, major cities, and military stations.
The government has also made arrangements for cultural programs and other events to mark Independence Day.
