District Epidemiologist Dr. Sumeet Singh from Civil Surgeon Office, Patiala led the checks at different places. The team visited Alipur Araya, the focal point, the area next to the DMW, and the factory area where dengue cases were reported last year. There, under the supervision of anti-larva staff teams, Sanjeev Kumar (SI), Avtar Singh (SI), Manoj Kumar (SI), all the staff of Sector Hasanpur and AT Larva conducted activities for dengue eradication and sprayed medicine in the area. Those houses were checked. Dengue larvae were found in the houses of people. Warning notices were also issued to them by the district team.
Apart from this, deltamethrin spray was also done in malaria high-risk areas in the villages of Alipur Araya and Rasulpur Saidan.
