Launch the second phase of each home program for the goal of 100 percent immunization
Responsibility of every health officer to make every house knocking campaign a success in the district: Deputy Commissioner
News Patiala: The second phase of the door-to-door knocking campaign has been launched in the district to reach out to every person in the district and vaccinate them against measles, which will continue till July 31. In this regard Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni today held a meeting with all the SMOs of the district and discussed the action plan for reaching out to every person in the district. Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Gurpreet Singh Thind was also present on the occasion.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner said that it was high time to motivate the people to get vaccinated. He said that all the SMOs should systematically reach out to every person deprived of immunization and make them aware of the importance of immunization. He stressed the need to make efforts for vaccination of children in the age group of 12 to 14 years and 15 to 18 years. He said that every health officer and staff should fulfill their responsibility to make every house knocking campaign a success in the district so that we can get rid of this epidemic of covid.
