CM Bhagwant Mann seeks the kind intervention of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to prevent any change in the nature & character of Panjab University. In a letter to both, CM says any such decision will not be acceptable to the people of Punjab.
ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਧਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਦਖ਼ਲ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਤਰ ਲਿਖ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
