| 18 new Diarrhea Patients found in Jhill Patiala |
News Patiala: The number of diarrhea cases in village Jhill is on the rise. A team from the health department on Saturday found 18 more cases of diarrhea. Six of the patients are in critical condition. He has been admitted to CHC Tripuri. At the same time, health services are being provided in the temporary dispensaries set up by the health department in the areas.
District Epidemiologist Dr. Sumit said that apart from village Jhil, one case each was found in Bishan Nagar, Sundar Nagar, Anand Nagar, and Deshmesh Nagar in two days. These cases are not due to drinking contaminated water. He said that the survey was being conducted by the teams of the health department. At the moment the situation is under control. He told people to refrain from eating outside.
In case of contaminated water report to the concerned department
Civil Surgeon Dr. Raju Dhir said that if any contaminated water is coming from any place then people should immediately complain to the concerned department so that the problem can be solved in time. The civil surgeon said to wash hands with soap before eating.
