New Delhi Jobs News for Candidates Seeking Government Jobs in State Bank of India. State Bank of India (SBI) has issued an advertisement for the recruitment of Circle Based Officers (CBOs) in its five circle branches in 6 states. As per the CBO recruitment advertisement (No. CRPD / CBO / 2021-22 / 19) issued by the bank on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, a total of 1226 CBO posts are to be filled.
Which 1100 posts are regularly vacant and 126 backlog posts. Are Interested candidates can apply today, December 9 through SBI’s official website sbi.co.in. SBP has fixed December 29 as the last date to apply for the CBO vacancy. Candidates will also have to pay a fixed fee of Rs 750 by December 29. Yet, there is no fee for SC, ST, and Divyang candidates.
Candidates who have obtained Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or Institution are eligible to apply as per The State Bank of India CBO Recruitment 2021 Notification. Also, the age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 30 years on December 1, 2021.
The candidate should not have been born before December 2, 1991, and after December 1, 2000. But, as per the government rules, the upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, Diwang, and other reserved categories has been relaxed. See the recruitment notification for more details.

Selection Process for State Bank of India 1226 CBO Recruitment
According to the CBO notification issued by the State Bank, the candidates will be selected for the advertised posts on the basis of written tests and interviews.
- The written test will be of two hours duration. The test will have a total of 120 questions in English, Banking, General Awareness / Economy, and Computer Aptitude.
- There will be 120 marks for the written test and there will be no negative marking in the test. Candidates who are declared successful in the written test will be called for an interview.
- Interview on the basis of merit after verification of merit. 50 marks have been allotted for the interview.
- The final selection list will be prepared on the basis of written test and interview marks and the weight of marks for both the stages is 75:25.
