In a car-truck collision on the Nabha-Bhawanigarh road. Eleven people, including six children, were returning from a wedding in an SUV when they collided with a truck near Nabha New District Jail. As a result, 7-year-old Abhijot Singh of Mundkhera and Soma Singh (35) of Madhomajra Samana died on the spot. The passengers were taken out of the vehicle with difficulty by the police and rushed to the hospital. Where nine persons were referred to Patiala Rajinder Hospital. Sona Kaur, 30, mother of the deceased Abhijot, died on the way. Mundkhera, a resident of Jaspal Kaur, who was referred to Chandigarh from Rajinder Hospital this morning, also died. The truck driver fled the scene.
