Election Commission to ensure Free Fair Transparent Assembly Elections Dr. S Karuna Raju

             Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab, Dr. S Karuna Raju said that the commission of India would introduce a postal ballot installation for the elderly citizens above 80 times, in the forthcoming Assembly Choices of Punjab. He said that in order to ensure briskly, smarter, transparent and timely completion of election work with ease, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has introduced the Garuda app. He said that through this app, BLOs would upload prints and position information of the polling stations from their registered mobile figures.

Dr. S Karuna Raju said that the app would help to evaluate the paper works and thus the BLOs would be ready to add namer names, omission of names, or revision of addresses in the electoral roll. He said that the small print of assured installations including toilets, wheelchair, libation, electricity, shanties, chairpersons, ramps for else-abled in polling cells would indeed be added there and may be checked online. He said that special focus would tend on ambisexual persons to register them as choosers. Also, women choosers would tend special honor during polling to take care of their respect and quality being a namer under the watchwords your Vote, Your Power, Your Pride’.

 Dr. S Karuna Raju said that the draft publication of electoral rolls after completion of special summary modification would be done on All Saints’ Day, 2021, and expostulations and claims are frequently submitted within a month before its final publication on January 5, 2022. To sensitize choosers about their rights, special SVEEP conditioning would be conducted across the state at the cell, ward, and vill position said, Dr. S Karuna Raju.
