News Patiala: US President Joe Biden has announced loan waivers up to 10 thousand US dollars. It has announced to waive student loans of 10 thousand dollars more for those with extreme financial need. The administration said today that the education department will share the information about the eligible beneficiaries with loan waivers next week.
Under this plan, loans will be waived only for those earning less than $125,000 per year. It is worth mentioning that this step of Biden is being condemned by liberals and Republicans. Even his own colleagues are not considering it very important.
But, Prez Biden tweeted, “In keeping with my campaign promise, my administration is announcing a plan to give working and middle-class families breathing room as they begin paying off federal student loans in January 2023. Prepare to resume.”
