Mumbai, January 17

Doctors treating actor Saif Ali Khan, who was injured in a knife attack at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, said today that the condition of the actor is improving. Meanwhile, the actor’s wife Kareena Kapoor and mother Sharmila Tagore reached Lilavati Hospital to know the condition of Saif.

Saif (54) was attacked by an assailant with a sharp weapon after entering his house in Bandra at 2 am on Thursday. In this attack, Saif Ali Khan was injured in six places including his neck. He underwent surgery at Lilavati Hospital.

Dr. Neeraj Uttamani said that he was the first doctor to see Saif Ali Khan after he was injured. He said, “Saif was completely covered in blood but still he entered the hospital walking like a lion with his little child. He is a real hero.”

The doctor said that Saif is being shifted from the ICU to a special room in the hospital. “We will not allow anyone to visit Saif today as we want him to rest,” he said. Knife wounds require rest, and back wounds require special care, with fear of infection.
