IAS Aditya Uppal takes over as Corporation Commissioner
News Patiala: 2015 batch IAS Aditya Uppal took over as Municipal Commissioner on Tuesday. After assuming office, he introduced the heads of various departments and said that the local body is for the service of the people and we will spare no effort in providing better facilities to the people of the city.
He said that before coming to Patiala he was holding additional charge of ADC in Kapurthala as well as Corporation Commissioner. Municipal Commissioner Aditya Uppal, who has done Mechanical Engineering from Thapar College, Patiala, said that every employee of the Municipal Corporation should use his power properly and provide better facilities to the people.
So that the pending works of the people can be disposed of on the spot. Any work for the convenience of the city dwellers will be done with full planning.
The newly appointed Commissioner said that any officer or employee can approach him and resolve any problem as he wants to see every employee and officer of the Municipal Corporation working in a good environment.
