After two years, the tableau of Punjab will be seen in the Republic Day parade on January 26 in the capital of the country, Delhi. The Ministry of Defense has approved the inclusion of Punjab’s tableau in the Republic Day Parade. Baba Farid, music and culture of Punjab will be presented in the tableau presented by the state government in the national parade of the Republic Day this time. Two bulls will also be shown in this tableau. The Punjab government has given all the preparations to prepare the tableau. It may be mentioned that Punjab’s tableau was earlier included every year in the national parade held in Delhi on Republic Day, but in the year 2023 and 2024, the Ministry of Defense disapproved the state’s tableau. Annoyed by the attitude of the Ministry of Defense, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann decided to show the tableaux prepared by the government to the people of the state.
According to information, the Ministry of Defense has decided to include tableaus of 15 states and Union Territories in the Republic Day Parade this time. It includes Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Goa, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Tripura, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. The Ministry of Defense has written to these states and UTs and ordered them to prepare a table.
