According to the police, they have received dozens of videos of the hooliganism that took place in the Gore Road temple on November 3 and the following day in the Mississauga area, which were being investigated since then and finally some of the people who played a leading role in this hooliganism. , they have been exposed. But due to the difficulty in identifying them, an appeal has been made to the common people so that such anti-social elements can be brought to book. The police say that the identity of the informers will be kept confidential and they will not be questioned in any way that may cause them trouble. The police has posted a tweet in this regard on its official ‘X’ account.

It is recalled here that last month the Indian Consulate General had set up a camp inside the temple to issue survival certificates to Indian pension holders living in Canada, but some Khalistani supporters protested against the consulate staff outside the temple and raised anti-India slogans. was going On that occasion, some people objected to the sloganeering and due to this the dispute turned violent, due to which the police had to intervene.

The already sour relationship between Canada and the Government of India was exacerbated by some media outlets promoting the violent clash as an attack on the temple.
