Navneet Singh Bhullar has been appointed as the new SSP of Haridwar district. SSP Manikant Mishra of Udham Singh Nagar district, bordering Uttar Pradesh, has also been removed. Mishra has been transferred to the post of Superintendent of Police (Intelligence). Ajay Ganapati will be the new SSP of Udham Singh Nagar. Ganapathi was earlier the police chief of Champawat.
Dehradun: After the killing of Jharkhand historian Vikram Sharma on Friday morning, police chiefs of several districts, including Dehradun, were transferred by evening. Dehradun SSP Ajay Singh was removed after five murders in the district in the last 15 days. Haridwar SSP Pramod Dobal has been given the command of Dehradun district. Dehradun SSP Ajay Singh, who was removed, has now been transferred to the Special Task Force (STF) in the same post.

Niharika Tomar will be the new SP of Rudraprayag. SSP Almora Devendra Pincha has also been removed. Chandrasekhar R. Ghodke has been appointed as the new head of Almora district. Chandrasekhar was earlier the SP of Bageshwar. Jatinder Kumar Mehra has been appointed as the new SP of Bageshwar.
SP Champawat Ajay Ganapathy has also been transferred.
Ajay Ganapathy has been made SSP Udham Singh Nagar.
SSP Manikant Mishra has been appointed SP Intelligence.
SP Intelligence Pradeep Kumar Roy has been transferred to CBI.
The SPs of Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar and Haridwar have also been transferred.
SSP Almora has also been transferred.
ASP Pauri Chandra Mohan Singh has also been transferred.
Dehradun SSP Ajay Singh will now be SSP STF.
