In view of the extreme cold, District Magistrate Pawan Kumar Gangwar has announced that schools up to class 12 will remain closed till January 12, giving relief to the school children.
In view of the extreme cold in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh, a decision has been taken to close schools. Schools upto 12th standard in Mirzapur district will remain closed till January 12. Strict action will be taken against the school if the rules are not followed. These days it is very cold in Purvanchal. The temperature is continuously falling. Melting is increasing due to cold wave and fog. In such a situation, keeping in mind the problems of the children, after the order of the District Magistrate, the schools upto 12th standard have been closed. If the cold continues like this, schools will be closed further. Instructions are given to strictly follow the rules.

In view of the severe cold, District Magistrate Pawan Kumar Gangwar has given relief to the school children by ordering the closure of schools up to class 12 till January 12. These rules will be applicable to all boards including CBSE, ICSE, UP Board and Madrasas. DM has given instructions to follow strictly. Failure to comply with the rules will result in cancellation of the school’s accreditation and further action will be taken.
District School Inspector Mayaram said that following the orders of the District Magistrate, schools up to class 12 have been closed. Schools will remain closed till January 12. However, the practical exams and other government work will continue. Schools have been given strict instructions to follow the rules. Failure to do so will result in strict action as per rules. Recognition may also be revoked.
