There is a great news for the youth preparing for government jobs in Haryana. Haryana Staff Selection Commission has started a large scale recruitment drive for constable posts in Haryana Police. This recruitment drive will provide an opportunity to thousands of youth to join the police department and is considered as a great opportunity for the youth of the state. A total of 5,500 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. Out of these 4,500 posts are for Male Constable (General Duty), 600 for Female Constable (General Duty) and 400 for Male Constables in Government Railway Police (GRP).

Male candidates have to complete 2.5 km run in 12 minutes, while female candidates have to complete 1 km run in 6 minutes. Ex-servicemen must complete 1 km run in 5 minutes.
Candidates should generally be between 18 to 25 years of age. However, age relaxation will be given for reserved categories as per government rules.
