Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 57 runs off 51 balls in the match. He also hit 5 fours and 3 sixes in his innings. After his dismissal, Rohit Sharma returned to the dressing room and spoke to Gautam Gambhir, a video clip of which is fast becoming viral on social media. In the video, Rohit Sharma is seen shaking his head in disagreement with Gambhir. Both men look completely serious during the conversation. That is why it is being said that there is a controversy in the dressing room of Team India.
Not only Rohit Sharma, Gautam Gambhir’s rift with Virat Kohli has also come to light. Video clips of Virat Kohli ignoring each other have surfaced on social media. Kohli also looked distant during the cake-cutting ceremony after the match. Moreover, media reports are claiming that the coach is not getting on well with these two senior players.
In the first ODI played in Ranchi, Team India defeated South Africa by 17 runs in the last over. After losing the toss, India batted first and scored 349 runs thanks to Virat Kohli’s century. In reply, South Africa were bowled out for 332 in the last over.
