The Amritpal Singh Lok Sabha member and the Hellis of Punjab was presented in a local court under the present security providers today, the BJP’s police custody. Police sought seven days of the accused, but the honorable court approved three days for three-day police remand by March 28.
DSP Ajnala Gurvinder Singh said that the accused have been presented in court under the FIR Number, Kulbar Singh Kahika, Gurmeet Singh, Harvar Singh, Saravar Singh, and Amanpar Singh.
The court has given police custody until March 28. On all of these were registered against Ajnala police station on February 23, 2023.
Amritpal Singh is currently closed in the Bibrogarh jail of Assam under the NSA. The seven companions of Amritpal Singh, brought to Punjab from Dibruland prison, was presented in Ajnala court on March 21, from which the court had sent them to four days police remand.
