The dumper truck hit a van on Tuesday morning in Madhya Pradesh, due to which 5 people were killed and 20 others were injured. Bhind Ami district police superintendent (SP) Asset Yadav said the incident took place near Jawakespura village when a group of people was returning from a wedding event. Some people were sitting in the van and the rest of the road stood on the road when a quick speed dumper truck hit them and the car.
He said that three people died on the spot on the occasion, while two others later died. The dead includes three people, including three women. Bhindctor Sanjeev Srivastave told News-Patiala that the dumper truck may have hit the van while trying to avoid the motorcycle. He said that 12 of the injured were referred for treatment, while the rest was undergoing treatment at the deceased district hospital.
