JEE Mains 2025. The JEE Main Session 1 exam will be held from January 22 to January 30, 2025. After this the application process for JEE Main Session 2 exam will start. As per NTA Exam Calendar 2025, JEE Main Session 2 Exam will be held between 1st to 8th April 2025
(JEE Main 2025 Date). If there is any change in it then the information will be given on the official website of NTA. Clearing the JEE Main exam is mandatory for admission to B.Tech courses in IITs and other top engineering institutes. Applications for JEE Main Session 2 examination will be accepted between 31 January 2025 to 24 February 2025.
JEE Mains 2025: Can appear for both stages of JEE?
For the past several years, the JEE Main exam has been conducted in 2 phases. 12th pass students can appear for both stages of JEE if they wish. Candidates who will appear for both the stages of JEE Mains, their result will be based on the best score. The JEE merit list is prepared based on the best score of both. Every year lakhs of candidates appear for both the stages of JEE Main exam. This gives them two chances to appear in the exam in the same year.
JEE Main Result: When will JEE Main result?
The JEE Main Session 1 exam result is expected to be released by 12 February 2025. Whereas, the JEE Main Session 2 exam result will be declared by 17 April 2025. This result will be released along with the final ranking. NTA has instructed the candidates to fill only one form of JEE Main. Candidates who fill 2 forms, their application will be rejected. If there is any mistake in the details filled in the form, an opportunity is given to correct it.
JEE Main Exam Pattern: How many questions will be asked in JEE Main?
The National Testing Agency has changed the JEE Main exam pattern. This time students will not be given any option. A total of 75 questions will be asked in the JEE Mains 2025 exam. Candidates have to attempt all 75 questions. This time the entrance exam is considered quite challenging. For the past few years, in the JEE Main exam, candidates had to answer 5 out of 10 questions in each subject of Section ‘B’. But now only 5 questions will remain.
