On the occasion of Republic Day, the local police administration has started investigating the records of young Akash who desecrated the statue of Dr. Ambedkar Sahib in the heritage built near the Chougir of Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar. Head of police station Jatinder Singh today went to the house of accused Akash and inquired deeply from the family. The intelligence wing of the police has also received all the details and sent them to the government.
According to the information, this young man is a resident of Chugha Vasti here and mostly lived in his maternal grandfather’s Baghipura. According to information, Akash had gone to Dubai for daily bread after passing the twelfth and returned some time ago and started living in a rented house in Amritsar.
On the other hand, according to Asha, the mother of the young man, Akash has never met him since he went to Dubai four years ago. The family is also in deep shock over the incident. The family is also completely unaware of his motive for doing so.
