Teenage girl borewell Death of a young girl who fell into a borewell in Kutch district of Gujarat

An 18-year-old girl has died after falling into a borewell in Gujarat’s Kutch district. After 33 hours of struggle, the girl was taken out of the borewell and taken to the hospital, where the doctors declared her dead. This girl fell into a borewell at around half past six in the morning in Kanderai village of Bhuj taluka on Monday. She got trapped in the bore at a depth of 490 feet. The local administration took the support of many agencies including fire brigade, NDRF and BSF for relief and rescue operations. The girl was taken out around 4 pm today. Bhuj Assistant Collector and SDM AB Yadav said that unfortunately the girl could not be saved and the doctors of GK General Hospital declared her brought dead. -News-Patiala
