Wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant has been named the captain of Lucknow Supergiants for the upcoming IPL season. Pant said that he will give his ‘200 percent’ to this team to win this first title. The Sanjeev Goenka-owned team bought Pant for an IPL record price of Rs 27 crore during the mega auction. Talking to reporters after being made the captain of Lucknow Super Giants, Pant said, “I will give my 200 percent. This is my commitment to you. I will do everything in my power to repay the faith shown in me. I am really excited and looking forward to a new beginning and new energy.” Goenka said, “We start with new hopes and aspirations… and most importantly, new faith.
