The Congress today said that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat’s ‘true freedom’ statement shows that he does not respect the Constitution. Bhagwat said that India got real independence only on the day of Ram Lalla’s death in the Ram temple. Senior party leader Bhupesh Baghel also claimed that Bhagwat has insulted the freedom movement. Party representative Pawan Khera was also present with him on this occasion. Bhagwat said on Monday that the date of Ram Lalla’s death in Ayodhya should be celebrated as ‘Pratishtha Dwadashi’, as the country, which suffered enemy attacks for centuries, got true independence on this day. Congress leaders said that Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Indian State’ statement was misinterpreted by BJP people. -News-Patiala
