In view of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (HSGMC) elections to be held on January 19, Guhla Ward no. 20, Kangthali Ward No. 21 and Kaithal Ward candidates met under the chairmanship of DC Preeti. Randomization of polling parties was done for 58 control units, ballot units and 22 nos. in the video conference hall of the Mini Secretariat. DC Preeti said that in view of the HSGMC elections, 7 booths have been constructed in Guhla Ward No. 20, to which 13 ballot units and control units have been allotted. 12 booths have been set up for Kangthali Ward No. 21, to which 20 ballot units and control units have been allotted. CATHAL WARD NO. 16 booths have been set up for 22, which have been allotted 25 ballot units and control units. He said that on January 15 at 10 am in the hall of RKSD College, the polling parties will be trained by master trainers. DC issued instructions to all election officials. He said that the police officers should ensure the deployment of adequate number of security forces especially at sensitive and highly sensitive booths during the counting of votes.
On this occasion, besides SDM Krishan Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Executive Officer of HSVP Vakil Ahmed, candidate representatives Gurdeep Singh, Kulastinderpal Singh, Giani Buta Singh Taranwali, Fateh Singh, Yadwinder Singh, Jaswant Singh were present.
