Forest Workers Union Punjab Mandal has decided to hold a state level rally on January 28 outside the head office in Mohali to resolve the issues of forest employees. In the meeting held here under the chairmanship of Chairman Hazara Singh, District President Ravi Gari, General Secretary Rachpal Singh and Finance Secretary Buta Singh, it was decided to make the employees working in the department unconditionally permanent, to abolish the condition of educational qualification on the workers, illegality of the workers. Discussions were held to implement the decision of the Punjab and Haryana High Court regarding exemption from the condition of 10 consecutive years to stop retrenchment.
