On the occasion of the 76th Republic Day, 17 police officers and employees of Punjab will be honored for their good services by the central government. Among them, two senior police officers of Punjab will be honored with President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (PMDS) and 15 police personnel will be honored with Medal for Distinguished Service (MMS). According to information received, ADGP Intelligence RK Jaiswal and ADGP Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) Nilabh Kishore will be awarded the President’s Medal for their distinguished service. Similarly, IPS Officer IG Ludhiana Range Dhanpreet Kaur and PPS Officer AIG Financial Intelligence Unit Tejinderjit Singh will be honored for their outstanding services. Apart from these, Inspector Inderdeep Singh, Inspector Amrik Singh, Inspector Jagrup Singh, Inspector Balwinder Singh, SI Balbir Chand, SI Iqbal Singh, SI Satish Kumar, SI Balveer Chand, SI Lakhveer Singh, SI Dimple Kumar, SI Harvinder Kumar, ASI Sukhbir Singh and ASI Harpal Singh will be honored. Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav thanked the central and state government for honoring the senior police officers and employees of Punjab.
