Today’s protest march was started by Gurudwara Nanaksar Sahib Chief Sewadar Baba Gurdev Singh who said that the administration should listen to the common people.
The protest march passed through the markets of Sector 28-C and D through residential areas and ended at Gurdwara Sahib Nanaksar.
Addressing this protest march which was taken out under the leadership of Young Kisan Ekta president Kirpal Singh, Rajinder Singh and Rural Struggle Committee leader Amandeep Singh Mann, the leaders said that the Chandigarh administration has done a double harm to the people of Chandigarh by handing over the power department to private hands. going to deliver On the one hand, if the electricity department goes into private hands, the government jobs will be lost and the coming young generation will be deprived of government jobs, on the other hand, the city dwellers will have to buy many times more expensive electricity from private companies, due to which they will also have to bear the brunt of inflation. .
The speakers said that the Chandigarh administration should withdraw its dictatorial decision, otherwise they will be forced to wage a bigger struggle, which will be the entire responsibility of the Chandigarh administration.
