Bharti Kisan Union Ekta Ugrahan District Ludhiana President Charan Singh Noorpur and General Secretary Sudagar Singh Ghudani said in a conversation that the officials who came to acquire land by farmers were peacefully surrounded by the farmers in Jeund village (Bathinda) but the police administration attacked the farmers. Indiscriminate lathi-charge was done and cases were registered against three dozen farmers including collections on the retaliatory action taken by the farmers, which is a totally reprehensible action. They demanded that the pamphlets on the farmers should be cancelled.
