Congress has announced to field Alka Lamba as a candidate against AAP leader and Chief Minister Atishi from Kalkaji constituency in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. The Congress released the third list of candidates on Friday, which has only one name. According to the All India Congress Committee, the Central Election Committee has approved the candidature of Lamba from Kalkaji. All India Mahila Congress chief Alka Lamba won the Chandni Chowk seat in 2015 as an Aam Aadmi Party candidate. Lamba joined the Congress in September 2019. The Congress has announced 47 candidates for the 70-member assembly in the two lists released earlier. On the other hand, AAP has announced all its candidates so far. -News-Patiala
