Bangalore, January 4
A court in Karnataka’s Bengaluru city on Saturday granted bail to engineer Atul Subhash’s wife Nikita Sanghania, his mother Nisha Sanghania and brother Anurag Sanghania in the case of forced suicide.
According to the prosecution, all the three accused appeared in the court. Subhash had committed suicide in Bengaluru on December 9. He had accused his estranged wife and in-laws of harassment. Subhash had alleged that his in-laws had pressured him to pay three crore rupees for divorce. Subhash made these allegations in his 40-page suicide note and a one-and-a-half-hour video. The police registered a case against the three including Subhash’s wife and arrested them and brought them to Bengaluru from Uttar Pradesh. -News-Patiala
